That\u2019s a bit how photography can feel sometimes. Day in, day out, same old stunning vistas, yet the thrill isn\u2019t quite what it used to be.<\/p>\n

Looking back over my shoulder at the last few laps around the sun, I\u2019ve seen my lens gradually shift<\/a> focus\u2014from the rolling hills and quiet moors of Yorkshire to the bustling streets and lively faces that give a place its pulse. But as I\u2019ve wandered and watched, I\u2019ve noticed a pattern or two in the paths I\u2019ve trodden. Certain spots just keep pulling me back, camera in hand. And each time I return, something\u2019s different. Maybe it\u2019s me, maybe it\u2019s the gear I\u2019m toting, or maybe the software I\u2019m swearing at back home has had a bit of an update.<\/p>\n
