Leeds Shopping – Knightsbridge of the North?<\/h1>\n

Leeds does seem to have its fair share of shops. Posh shops. Harvey Nichols. Designer stuff.<\/p>\n

I like the shop in the Victoria Quarter with Panerai watches best – often found lusting after the PAM 372<\/a>, a huge watch which looks just about perfect on my wrist… shame it’s \u00a36000.<\/p>\n

20mm HDR<\/h2>\n

So trialling my trusty new 20mm prime lens, I took the tripod around Briggate and the shopping area – weird light meant HDR, just to eek out a bit more detail in the clouds and dark areas. The bustling atmosphere of the street gave me plenty of opportunities to experiment with different compositions. As I captured vibrant storefronts and candid moments of passersby, I kept in mind some essential Leeds photography tips and techniques<\/a> to enhance my shots. The unique blend of urban and historical architecture around me provided a perfect backdrop to showcase the lens’s capabilities.<\/p>\n

Bracketing at -2\/0\/+2 EV was enough for the light conditions – no need to go silly and do 7 shots or anything like that.<\/p>\n
