{"id":4759,"date":"2015-01-11T16:16:50","date_gmt":"2015-01-11T16:16:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mcfade.co.uk\/blog\/?p=4759"},"modified":"2025-11-27T12:54:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T12:54:05","slug":"leeds-rubbish-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mcfade.co.uk\/blog\/leeds-rubbish-photography","title":{"rendered":"Leeds is RUBBISH For Photography!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Who&#8217;d Want to do Photography in Leeds ?<\/h1>\n<p>I&#8217;ve heard this said many times &#8211; along with classics such as&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you&#8217;ve not got many great buildings,<\/li>\n<li>you&#8217;ve not got any sky scrapers<\/li>\n<li>costs a fortune to park and they charge you at night<\/li>\n<li>its really rough and you&#8217;ll get mugged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ok&#8230; Parking is Terrible&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>Well the one I agree with is the parking issue. It&#8217;s a pain to park in the city &#8211; it has to be said. Hugely over priced car parks, and hour of on-street parking costs more than a Bugatti Veyron&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>To add insult to injury, the council, in their infinite wisdom, decided to charge for parking in the evenings too &#8211; which has certainly put me and lots of other photographers off &#8220;popping into town&#8221; for a few shots at sunset. Its the top bit, on Vicar Lane, which is worth seeing though. An amazing building inside and out. It&#8217;s not really &#8220;round&#8221; but a slight egg shape really.
