Conclusion…
I’ve outlined the 3 4 areas for you to concentrate on to become a better photographer – with a very broad brush. But all images start out as follows:- Understanding the fundamentals of composition, lighting, and exposure will greatly enhance your photographic skills. Remember, even the most experienced photographers continually seek out beginner photography tips for success to refine their craft. With practice and persistence, you’ll discover your unique style and perspective that will set your work apart.
- An idea – could be planned months ahead, or on the spur of the moment
- Composition – so how are you going to capture it, what is interesting, what do you want to exclude, do you want the background blurred out…. etc. etc. etc.
- Techy – which lens do I need to achieve this, what focal length works best, is depth of field or movement most important (another blog subject there!!!) and which settings will I use to achieve all this
When all 3 come instinctively, with no conscious thought, and you’re getting repeatable great results, you’re well on your way to mastering photography!
